Overview
Gear flowmeter is a type of positive displacement flowmeter with high accuracy. It uses the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet of the flowmeter cavity to drive a pair of gears to mesh. Two precisely matched gears are enclosed in a precision-machined cavity, and the root of each gear and the measuring cavity form a volume cavity of equal volume. The liquid is divided into a single known standard volume portion by the rotation of the gear. The total volume of the liquid is measured according to the number of times the volume cavity is filled and discharged with the liquid of the volume portion one by one and repeatedly.
